Stelios Stylianides & Co was founded in the year 1980 and proudly celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2020. It has always operated from its offices in Limassol, but undertakes litigation, corporate and other transactional work in all areas of the Republic of Cyprus.
As one of the longer standing firms, it has for decades enjoyed the trust of local and overseas clients, and an excellent reputation for its efficiency, professionalism and reasonableness. Its clientele includes local and overseas banking institutions, pharmaceutical companies and other commercial corporations, as well as notable individuals.
The firm continuously builds upon its solid experience in its diverse areas of practice, and brings its extensive litigation experience to supplement its expertise in non litigious, transactional and regulatory matters.
Its team of advocates and paralegals is enthusiastic about its practice and experienced to handle complex issues and new challenges. History
Our firm was founded in the year 1980 by Mr Stelios Stylianides. With its first offices on Georgiou Gennadiou Street 8, in the historic centre of Limassol, next to the then buildings of the District Court of Limassol and the District Lands Office, the firm engaged strongly in the areas of Corporate & Commercial services, Real Estate and Litigation.
The year 1991 saw the relocation of the firm to new offices, again on Georgiou Gennadiou Street, at No. 10A. By that time, the firm’s Corporate & Commercial and Real Estate practices continued to represent its main activities, whereas the firm’s litigation practice expanded with a significant redirection to banking related claims. The areas of personal injury and employment were soon added to the list of main practices of the firm.
As a result of continuing expansion, in the year 2015, the firm moved to its current offices at 33 Theklas Lysioti Street, in the commercial area of Limassol, with easy access to the current buildings of the Limassol Courts.
The firm’s practice now covers most areas of contemporary commercial activity and litigation.
