Maria graduated from the University of Cyprus in 2018 and joined Stelios Stylianides & Co LLC in the same year. She holds an LLM in Maritime Law from University College London, having achieved a Distinction. She further undertook a traineeship at the Legal and Finance Department of the European Maritime Safety Agency.

Maria was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2019.

She speaks Greek, English and French.
